SSST Scholarship

SSST Coordinator is pleased to offer partial scholarships for SSST students with demonstrated financial need. Applications must be received by September 1 for May session schools or March 1 for November session schools.

Applications must include three one-page letters:

1. An essay from the SSST student addressing the following prompt: “How has your mother tongue shaped your identity and what role does it play in your life?"

2. A letter from the SSST student's parent(s) or guardian(s) explaining the circumstances that have created a need for financial assistance.
   
   
3. A letter of support from the student's IB DP Coordinator affirming that the student has a demonstrated need for financial assistance.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of SSST Educators. As part of the evaluation process, SSST students may be invited for a video conference interview with the SSST Scholarship Award Panel.

Financial aid award recipients will be informed by email within two weeks of the application deadline.
